Derron Steenbergen & Speed Marriott: "Crisis Creates Champions"
If a quarterback is defined as a "game manager" followed with adjectives like efficient, capable, and competent, you may be looking at a journeyman destined for a life on the bench. However, if a quarterback is defined as a “team leader” with adjectives such as fearless, elite, poised, confident, and relentless, you’re thinking “Hall of Famer”. At the end of the day… Managers manage tasks and processes. Leaders seek and present opportunities to succeed. In this session, we’ll give you 5 tenets for leading through adversity.

Main Street America is comprised of a collection of small businesses and when formed together, make up the lifeblood of our economy. Over the last few months, these small businesses have been dealt a near-fatal blow through this crisis. Cash flow is tight and many have been closed or remain closed. But one thing remains, they need customers and they need them now. They need their message told and told immediately. As broadcasters, we are the voice of the communities that we serve. Local news, weather, and sports. Over the years our voice has helped build Main Street, now it is our responsibility to help save it. In this session, we’ll discuss our role and the challenge that lies ahead of us.
